At
the small restaurant (Trattoria) of Montebello street in Borgo it was very
usual to serve these slices of bread especially on Thursday when there was
the market: slices of home-made bread which were greased with olive oil
and sprinkled with sugar and aniseeds, then put in oven in order to roast
them and eaten very hot.
