Private or small groups Tuscan cooking lessons

In Firenze, Lucca or your location

Prepare the dishes and enjoy the products of your work with the appropriate wines. Classes will be held in Firenze, Lucca or your location and may be scheduled for any dates with two-day advance notice, and can be conducted in Italian, English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, or Japanese. You may take one lesson or combine them to fashion a program of your interest. The lessons begin at 16:00. After assisting in the preparation of dishes, you sit at a table in the Enoteca and at 18:30/19:00 you have dinner, enjoying your creations with the correct wines.

The locations for our private cooking lessons are in Palazzo Borghese, via Pandolfini 27 in Florence and in via Mordini 60 in Lucca, both ancient and historical downtown buildings.

Below are some examples of menus:

Tuscan hors d'oeuvres

  • The traditional Tuscan "crostini" sauce
  • Panzanella (Tuscan bread salad)*
  • Coccoli e Figattole
  • Vino rosato Albiola Casale del Giglio Lazio

A Tuscan dinner for friends

  • Pappa al pomodoro
  • Chicken with white wine, olives, and fresh herbs
  • Panna cotta with sauce
  • Vino Rosso Chianti Selvapiana - Rufina

Hand-made pasta

  • Pasta fatta in casa: preparation of the pasta for tagliatelle
  • Preparation of different kinds of pasta, cutting by hand or machine (taglierini, fettuccine, etc.)
  • Three typical Tuscan sauces: carrettiera, mushroom sauce* and pesto
  • Vino Rosso Chianti Selvapiana - Rufina

A more complex menu

  • Mezzelune con ricotta e spinaci
  • Rotolo di manzo
  • Seasonal vegetable side dish
  • Vino rosso Sangiovese Lagone Livorno

  • Pappardelle sulla lepre
