Family of cruciferae
It is a small plant which grows in fields, meadows and in kitchen gardens,
even if in the latter it is not well accepted and considered like an infesting
plant.
|
Use
It is used as a medical plant and it represents a remedy against
painful menstruation and bleeding gums. It is very tasty in salads,
made in Spring, because of its intense flavour similar to the one
of cabbage (they belong to the same botanical family). It can substitute
cabbage in some recipes. |
