Family of cornaceae
It is a small tree, or more often a shrub, and it is a common plant of
the Apennines easy to find it along paths or streams. It blossoms in Spring
with yellow small flowers. In Fall its fruits ripe and they have an oval
shape and red colour like a cherry and they are called "corniole".
Even a jewel has the same name of these fruits.
