This is a small plant which grows on well dry soils, it has a large use
in the study of medicinal herbs for its tonic, cardiac-tonic and expectorant
properties.
Use The infusion in red wine represents a good remedy against the
lack of appetite and it has digestive effects. The infusion in water
represents a remedy against all the bronchial diseases. As it has
a bitter flavour it is necessary to add some honey to the infusion.
Locally this plant is called herb of Our Lady or herb of fear and
it is used for bathing and footbaths.
