The watercress is a plant belonging to the same botanical family of cabbage
and it grows and flourishes in still waters of streams and ditches. It
is rich of vitamins and it is considered a good remedy against scurvy.
|
Use
The juice is a remedy against the hair fall. It is considered
a good cure for gout and rheumatism and so it can be used in the diets
of people suffering these diseases. In any case it is a tasty salad
which can be eaten alone or with other kinds of herbs. The watercress,
as the other aquatic plants, has to be washed carefully, perhaps with
water and vinegar. |
