Poggio Etrusco is a privately owned estate near Montepulciano,
halfway between Florence and Rome. The owners are
Pamela Sheldon Johns (a cookbook author), Courtney Johns (an artist and
clothing designer), and their daughter, Alaia. The villa has three private
apartments available for weeklong holiday rentals. Each apartment is uniquely
charming and comes equipped with a fully-equipped kitchen and living area
with a fireplace. They are tastefully decorated with antiques and
artwork, each with lovely views. A private one-bedroom, one-bath room
in the olive grove may be available for Bed & Breakfast. |

The Residence Bosco della Spina inaugurated in December 1999,
is the renovation of an ancient Medieval farm: the vineyards, the granaries
and the stables are located in the ancient town of Lupompesi Borgo
of which the origins are lost in time from Etruscan to Roman to the Barbaric
invasions.
The estate in the Borgo includes 14 Suites of various sizes, Reception,
Bar, the shopping area, where genuine goods from the farm are sold, Restaurant
with fireplace and a large terrace, a private outdoor parking space, swimming
pool, a small fitness centre, and a meeting room. |
