BRUSCOLI: It is a hamlet belonging to the Commune of Firenzuola. It has been known since about 1250 for the family clash about an unjustly divided inheritance, and about the different political faiths of the three Alberti brothers from Bruscoli, Napoleone, Guglielmo and Alessandro. This conflict was so violent that it had been narrated by Dante in the first Circle of the "Inferno" (hell).
At Bruscoli, thanks to G.A.B., a local archeological group, there is the small ethnographic historical museum where both archeological findings and daily utensils used in the country-life of the past, as well as war surplus of the Second World War are on show.

BADIA DI MOSCHETA: A shot of the ancient "Badia di Moscheta" built in the 11 th century. The name Moscheta comes from "Mons ischetus", an appropriate name at the time when the hermitage was built, at that time infact all the nearby mountains were shaded by "Ischie", a variety of oak. The Badia is still very well preserved.
