CAMAGGIORE
- CONIALE: this village has very ancient origins, infact
it is said that it belonged to the patronage of the Ubaldini.
In 1919 a violent earthquake damaged all the buildings,
but luckily there were no victims.

CASETTA
DI TIARA: this small inhabited area is included in the
territory of the Commune of Palazzuolo, but it makes part
of the vicarage of Firenzuola. The few inhabitants of the
place still talk a sort of dialect, the "casettino".

Filigare. The parish |

CAVRENNO
- FILIGARE - MONTALBANO: : Cavrenno, a hamlet of ancient
origins, was a fort of the Ubaldini in 1200. Unluckily,
after many vicissitudes, very little remains of this village.
But nearby the village of Montalbano at Filigare arose as
a result of the construction of the National Bolognese road.
It is known for having been the holiday resort of the poet
Giosuč Carducci.

CIMITERO
TEDESCO DELLA FUTA: this German Cemetery located on
the Futa Pass was accomplished in 1969 on a project by the
German architect Oesterlen. There are about 32,000 tombs
of German soldiers who died for their country during the
last World War.

COVIGLIAIO:
this hamlet, besides being known as a holiday and health
resort for its position between the Futa Pass and the Radicosa
one, has also put up in its hotel during their transit famous
travellers like Ferdinand of Naples, the Czar Nicola of
Russia, Pope Pius IX etc.

CORNACCHIAIA:
this inhabited area is situated on the Eastern part of the
Futa. The name is derived from the Latin version of the
pointed peaks of its hills (Corna Clara).
This village has very old origins, infact we can find news
about it since 995. The writer Tito Casini was born here
in 1897.
