Patate e cipolle sotto la cenere

(Potatoes and onions under cinders)

This is an extremely poor course and it can be prepared only if one has a fireplace; once it was made during the cold winter evenings spent in front of the fireplace.

Today it is possible to cook the potatoes and the onions under cinders or by folding them in tinfoil and we peel them before eating them.
